Website creation of the European program for international cooperation and professional development of Ukrainian educators

eTwinning is a community, cooperation and opportunities for the development of educators.

The program was launched by the European Commission in 2005 as a platform for the community of educators and the development of cooperation in the field of education. The eTwinning Program involves schools, preschool education institutions, vocational education institutions, and higher education institutions that train teachers. Today, the eTwinning community unites educators from 46 countries in Europe and the world.

The implementation of the eTwinning initiative in Ukraine promotes the integration of Ukrainian educators (teachers, lecturers, heads of educational institutions, future teachers (students of pedagogical universities and colleges), politicians and civil servants responsible for educational policy, and educational institutions into the European Educational Area and the European community of educators.

• Create a corporate website for the development of the eTwinning initiative in Ukraine, support for innovative educators and the building of the European Educational Area;
• Present information about the current participants (ambassadors and educational institutions) of the program in an interactive format;
• Develop a convenient format for administering and viewing the FAQ section, taking into account the large number and variability of questions;
• Think over the structure of the site’s information content for the convenient perception of a large volume of information;
• Provide the ability to categorize, tag all the site’s content, and also implement the ability to add various types of filters;
• Prepare the site and provide all the necessary tools for SEO promotion.

Convenience, thoughtfulness, interactivity

Developed the website in a minimalistic style, without overloading it with animations and bright colors, which makes it easy to highlight important information or focus on targeted actions, as well as perceive the content as conveniently as possible in general;

Divided the articles on the website into 2 main categories “Professional development” and “News”. At the same time, there is an opportunity to combine content and show one article in both sections, or articles from different sections can have the same tag and appear when filtering by it;

Added the functionality of an advanced search on the site across all sections, for example, questions from the “FAQ” section immediately have an answer on the search page;

Implemented an interactive “Map of eTwinners”, where everyone can see how active their region is in the program and which ambassadors can be contacted for help;

In each section of the website, developed appropriate means of filtering and searching for information for a convenient search of the necessary information;

Developed a convenient admin panel and provided a video instruction, thanks to which, employees were able to figure out the management of the website really quickly and started filling it.
